The ATPL (A) airline Transport Pilot License, allows you to operate with Commander or Co-pilot functions on multi-engine aircraft for commercial aviation. The course is theoretical and for this reason once you have passed the exam, you get the ATPL (A) FROZEN license, that is, frozen, which entitles you to work on a scheduled airliner but can only be thawed if you reach the scheduled flight hours by current regulations.
Without such a limitation, the pilot will have the requisites for accessing the Command courses of the various airlines and therefore become a commander of line aircraft.
The modular course consists of two possible modules:
1. Modular theoretical course for those who have already obtained the CPL/IR license CPL/IR
2. Theoretical and practical modular course for those who have obtained the PPL license and still have to obtain the CPL/IR license
The course can be taken entirely in the classroom or with the Distance Learning formula, developed according to EASA regulations by CATS Aviation Training
